WestCMR helps hospitals and surgery centers capitalize on buying, selling, and liquidating in-date surgical supplies. Hospitals and surgery centers need outlets for distressed inventory from switching OEMs, budget cuts, surgeon preference changes, and returns. By purchasing surplus inventory, redistributing products to facilities at a discount, in the exact quantity needed, WestCMR is the ultimate sustainable surgical solution and helps hospitals and surgery centers throughout the U.S. liquidate surgical supply waste, instead of sending it to landfills.

WestCMR had an innovative business model that was working but needed to upgrade their basic website to be able to scale as their business does over time. Trellis aided WestCMR curate an eCommerce strategy, platform migration, project re-design, and re-development for their new B2B site. B2B eCommerce presents unique challenges in the eCommerce space and WestCMR needed a partner they could trust to execute the project on time and under budget.

Results

WestCMR decided with Trellis guidance to choose Magento Commerce Cloud over Shopify or BigCommerce because it was best suited for their complex B2B needs. They also had complex integration needs with Microsoft Dynamics and we used nChannel to help them accomplish this.

Trellis developed a multistore Magento website that fit both their brand’s unique needs on one Magento instance with all the B2B functionality they needed to grow their business. With the ERP integration, they can now serve their customers in real-time and with much better functionality than ever before.
